Here we care for and treat patients with conditions including acute kidney failure, liver cirrhosis, and inflammatory bowel diseases. The department has a training nurse who works to strengthen and support our nurses in their professional role by leading, implementing, evaluating, and following up on competency development initiatives within the team. Central Hospital Kristianstad (CSK) is the acute care hospital for northeastern Scania. Here we provide acute care 24/7 with approximately 2,600 dedicated staff members. CSK combines the resources of a large hospital with the closeness and sense of community of a smaller one. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a nurse, you will work both in teams with other professions and independently, responsible for providing good care and nursing to our patients. Your work tasks are varied and often include elements of medical technology. We all share responsibility for the patients admitted to the unit. Patients are divided into two teams as much as possible, with focus on nephrology or gastroenterology. This way, as a nurse, you make rounds with a medical team and have good conditions for learning during rounds. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with the authorization to work in Swedish healthcare. Furthermore, you have Swedish language skills at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale. We would like to see that you have experience in gastroenterology or nephrology, but this is not a requirement. For you to thrive and succeed in this role, we see that you are thorough, good at prioritizing your tasks, and have strong commitment to the operations and want to contribute to our continued development.
