About the Operation Are you a nurse looking for work that is engaging, varied, and developmental? Then the intermediate care unit (IMA) at Sundsvall Hospital might be what you're looking for! Intermediate care (IMA) is a form of care between intensive care and standard ward care where patients with failing vital functions are monitored and cared for. The unit is an integrated part of ICU where you and an experienced ICU nursing assistant work together and are responsible for two patients in close collaboration with anesthesiologists and other ICU staff. We are now recruiting four nurses for IMA. These are permanent positions, full-time, with start dates by agreement. Work Tasks This work may suit you if you've considered further education, as you will take on more advanced tasks and gain insight into intensive care. The role suits you if you are engaged, positive, and interested in more advanced and technical healthcare. You will work with: Care and monitoring of patients at risk of or experiencing failure in individual organ systems. Teamwork with highly competent colleagues and more advanced tasks where you are responsible for two patients. The work is varied and conducted in close collaboration with intensive care nurses, nursing assistants, specialist nursing assistants, doctors, and physiotherapists.
