We are seeking both newly graduated and experienced nurses. On our infectious disease unit, we are a team of different professionals who support each other. We have a total of 14 patient beds for patients with serious medical conditions, with diagnoses encompassing a wide variety of infectious diseases. On the unit, we work in multidisciplinary teams to provide our patients with the best possible care. We actively work on improvements regarding patient safety and patient safety risks, as well as the working environment on the unit. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES On our infectious disease unit, you are offered diverse and exciting work where you have the opportunity to develop broad expertise in medical nursing as well as in our specialty. Here you will receive stimulating and rewarding tasks whether you are newly graduated and want to build a solid foundation, or if you have several years of experience and want to deepen your expertise. In your role as a nurse, you work in a team together with nursing assistants and physicians. During daytime, you always have an on-call physician and a pharmacist available. We work extensively with intravenous medication administration and use medical technology equipment such as optiflow and monitoring systems. Some of our patients have resistant bacteria or are being treated for contagious diseases, which requires isolation, but regardless of the patient's diagnosis, we work according to basic hygiene procedures. For new employees, we offer an individually tailored orientation program based on your previous experience. With support and follow-up from our nursing managers, we ensure you receive the knowledge you need to succeed in your role. QUALIFICATIONS We welcome you as a licensed nurse with authorization to practice within Swedish healthcare. Swedish language proficiency equivalent to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe scale is a requirement.
