Health and Social Care is part of the Social Services Office, which also includes Elderly Care, Support Services, Individual and Family Services, and Administration and Digitalization. Health and Social Care in Strängnäs is responsible for healthcare and rehabilitation for the municipality's residents. Here, nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and nursing assistants work in teams with the patient at the center. Our mission is to provide care and treatment to people who need support and cannot visit their healthcare center. WORK DUTIES Typical duties for a district nurse/registered nurse with patient responsibility in home care settings. This can range from simple medical interventions to more advanced care in patients' own homes. We receive most of our assignments from the region and primarily perform primary care level assignments, with occasional specialist care level assignments. Variation in work where no two days are the same. You plan your work both independently and together with your team. We use digital signing of health and social care documentation to simplify the daily work of licensed professionals and increase compliance in performed interventions. Working hours are primarily daytime but with on-call duty shifts—currently 4-5 evenings per 12-week period, approximately every 6th weekend, and public holidays Monday to Friday. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who has/is: • A licensed district nurse/registered nurse with at least 2 years of experience. • We would like to see experience in health and social care from both regional and municipal settings. • Experience working with various digital systems (electronic health records, signing systems, communication systems, and quality registers). • Strong ability to express yourself and communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing in Swedish. • Class B driver's license and good driving experience with a private vehicle.
