We are also committed to creating the external conditions necessary for you to do a good job. Description We are seeking a nurse with specific expertise in the neurological field for our clinic. The position is organizationally part of the neurological team within the Geriatrics, Neurology and Rehabilitation service area. The Neurology Clinic is staffed with four physicians and three nurses. Regular neurological care is provided, and patients with diagnoses such as MS, Epilepsy, and Parkinson's disease are among our largest patient groups. In addition to nurses and physicians, the team includes a neuropsychologist, neuropsychologists specializing in language, physiotherapist, occupational therapist, dietitian, coordinator, and social worker. The hospital also has radiology and laboratory services. Responsibilities Work as a neurology nurse. Educate and provide patient information, counseling, and support to patients and families with neurological diseases. Independent clinic for patients with neurological diseases. Telephone counseling (follow-up on medication treatment and various other questions). Routine tasks related to neurological care, MMT testing, preparation and assistance with lumbar puncture and Tensilon testing, Apomorphine and LDOPA testing, and genetic testing. Qualifications Licensed nurse is required. Education in neurology is a merit. Experience working in neurological care is required. Strong social competence and ability to collaborate are highly valued. Interest in development, innovative thinking, and teamwork is important. Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both written and spoken, is required. Language skills beyond Swedish and English are desirable. Angered Community Hospital will place great emphasis on your personal suitability. You should be service-oriented, communicative, and have a good ability to work both in teams and independently.
