About the Operations

The Forensic Psychiatric Clinic in Säter provides highly specialized care at county, regional, and national levels. We primarily care for patients under forensic psychiatric care legislation and currently have 78 inpatient beds distributed across seven departments.
Work in forensic psychiatry is varied and demands both medical expertise and professional conduct. If you are new to the field, there is an opportunity to observe operations to gain a better understanding of the work.
The Nursing Unit is a newly established nurse unit with a mission to strengthen collaboration, quality, and safety in nursing care. We work closely together and value an open climate where experience is shared and colleagues support one another in daily work. The approach is consultative, meaning that during your shift you are responsible for multiple departments, which is both stimulating and developmental.
Job Responsibilities
As an hourly substitute nurse, you strengthen operations as needed, sometimes with short notice. You have a central role in the team around the patient and are responsible for medical assessments, medication management, and documentation. The work also includes collaborating with other professionals and contributing to safe and structured care. The role requires that you can prioritize, make independent decisions, and work well with colleagues.
Qualifications
Requirements:
You are a licensed nurse
Meritorious:
Since our patients have both psychiatric and somatic care needs, we appreciate good knowledge in somatic care
Experience in psychiatric care
Personal Qualities:
We seek someone who is confident in your professional role, has a professional approach, and demonstrates good conduct. You thrive in collaboration with others but also have the ability to work independently.
