The adult psychiatry operations area in Helsingborg has clinics and teams located in Helsingborg, Landskrona, and Ängelholm. All 24-hour care is provided in Helsingborg. We provide specialist psychiatric care and treatment for patients with serious mental health issues. The catchment area consists of ten municipalities in northwestern Scania, with which we have good collaboration through coordination meetings and care planning.
Department 56 is a general psychiatric acute care unit providing 24-hour care as well as an education and development department, aimed at patients over 18 years old. We care for patients with conditions and illnesses across the entire psychiatric diagnostic spectrum. We also have a special mission for specialized eating disorder care.

WORK DUTIES
Would you like to become our new colleague? We are now welcoming a nurse or psychiatric nurse to our department!
With us you work in care teams together with care assistants and nursing assistants, where you have the role of care-responsible nurse. In close collaboration with patients, relatives, and colleagues, you are responsible for care planning and contribute to person-centered and safe care based on each patient's individual needs.
We work according to Safewards, a model that promotes a safe care environment for both patients and staff. Your work duties include documentation, ward rounds, medication management, care interventions, and mentoring of students according to the peer-learning model. Together with your colleagues, you work toward high patient safety and high-quality care.
As part of Helsingborg University Hospital, there are also good opportunities to engage in research. The operations unit has its own research network that meets regularly and supports staff with research interests.

QUALIFICATIONS
You who apply are a licensed nurse with authorization to work in Swedish healthcare. You also have knowledge of Swedish at least at level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale. It is highly advantageous if you have specialist training in psychiatry. It is also advantageous to have previous experience working in adult psychiatry and psychiatric care.
As a person, you are empathetic, attentive, and responsible with very good interpersonal skills toward both patients and colleagues. You have high responsiveness and a structured work approach and have the ability to make independent decisions when required. At the same time, you are a team player who enjoys working in a team and enjoys sharing your knowledge and experience. Through your commitment and constructive approach, you contribute to our good work environment. Great importance is placed on personal suitability.
