About the role You are the key person coordinating the residents' healthcare services and work to provide quality of life. You are responsible for ensuring that medical prescriptions are followed. You regularly conduct risk assessments and follow-ups to ensure good quality in the operations. Collaboration and support You are part of a team with care staff, nurses, occupational therapist, and physiotherapist. An important role for you is to coach and train the care staff so that together you provide each resident with the best possible life. In this you work closely with the residence's group managers who are responsible for the care staff. Our group managers also coach and work together with the teams in daily operations. We invest in leadership development for you as a nurse. One course we can offer you is "Leading Without Being a Manager". Getting to know the residents Understanding the residents' wishes and observing small changes in their health and medical conditions is often crucial for correct assessments and decisions. Clear procedures To create safety and clarity for you as a nurse, there is comprehensive support in the form of practical and easily accessible procedures, guidelines, and checklists. Your experience and knowledge You are a licensed nurse and we would like to see that you have worked a few years in elderly care. Our residents are often multi-ill and it requires that you have both comprehensive knowledge of various diseases and conditions as well as an interest in aging people. Good computer skills and experience with documentation are important.
