About the role You are the central hub around the residents' health and care services and work to provide quality of life. You are responsible for ensuring that medical prescriptions are followed. You regularly conduct risk assessments and follow-ups to ensure good quality in the operations. Collaboration and support You are part of a team with care staff, nurses, an occupational therapist, and a physiotherapist. An important role for you is to coach and train the care staff so that together you provide each resident with the best possible life. In this, you work closely with the facility's group managers who are responsible for the care staff. Our group managers also coach and work with the teams in daily operations. We invest in leadership development for you as a nurse. One course we can offer you is "Leading Without Being in Charge". Getting to know the residents Understanding the residents' wishes and noticing small changes in their health and medical conditions is often crucial for correct assessments and decisions. Clear routines To create security and clarity for you as a nurse, there is comprehensive support in the form of practical and easily accessible routines, governing documents, and checklists. Our quality management system is called MiraQ. As a new nurse with us, you will participate in our digital introduction program together with your mentor to ensure you receive a clear introduction with the goal of quickly getting into the work and our routines. Your experience and knowledge You are a licensed nurse and we would appreciate it if you have worked a few years in elderly care. Our residents often have multiple conditions and this requires that you have both comprehensive knowledge of various diseases and conditions as well as an interest in aging people. Good computer skills and experience with documentation are important.
