The Hematology Clinic at Linköping University Hospital provides highly specialized care in hematology and has a strong research focus. Later: Career development program within the Center for Surgery, Orthopedics and Cancer Care (CKOC) with the opportunity to specialize within one of our core areas. Advanced training in chemotherapy handling (chemotherapy certification) and hematology education both internally and externally. Regular internal continuing education. Advanced education as a specialist nurse in medicine or oncology with paid leave. Over time, you may be offered expanded assignments with deepened responsibility to promote employee-driven development. Rotation opportunities within the clinic, for example between outpatient/day care and inpatient ward. Job Description On the inpatient ward, we care for patients with tumor and deficiency diseases of the blood-forming system such as anemia, leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma. This involves tasks in general and specific medical-hematological care and nursing, highly specialized care in cell therapy and stem cell transplantation, as well as other advanced treatments. We actively work with quality improvement, are an accredited stem cell transplant facility according to JAICE standards. We are also accredited in cancer care and are part of Linköping Comprehensive Cancer Center (LCCC). The clinic has day care/outpatient services, a cell therapy unit, and a clinical trial unit. We provide the latest cell therapy treatments including CAR-T cell therapy (Chimeric Antigen Receptor) and BiTe treatment. As part of the care service's commitment to offering patient-centered and resource-efficient care, we have intensified our work over the past year to develop and implement outpatient treatment formats and self-care. Work Team We are a nurse-rich ward with close collaboration with nursing assistants, physicians, and allied health professionals at the clinic (pharmacist, dietitian, physiotherapist, and social worker). About You We are seeking someone who sees the whole picture and considers both the larger perspective and the organization's best interests in your decisions, and who has a genuine interest in nursing care, particularly in cancer care, and wishes to contribute to developing nursing care for our patients. Requirements: Registered nurse. Swedish language skills equivalent to at least level C1 (good command of Swedish language, both spoken and written). Meritorious: Over 1 year of professional experience as a nurse. Experience working in hematology in inpatient care or outpatient care or both. Experience or interest in rotation between outpatient and inpatient care. Specialist nurse. We value your personal qualities.
