Within the Urology operational area (VO), there are two care wards and a clinic in Malmö. Here we care for patients with diseases of the urinary tract. Our care encompasses both benign and malignant conditions in all ages from 18 years. Our surgical operations range from minor procedures at the clinic to major pelvic surgery. Many patients require recurring care and follow-ups, which provides good patient contact and continuity of care. At the clinic, there are contact nurses specializing in prostate, bladder, kidney, and penis and testicular cancer. The Uro-therapy clinic is part of the Urology Clinic and is part of the Pelvic Floor Center at Skånes University Hospital (Sus). There is also a team of nurses who manage, among other things, extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL) for kidney stones. To meet future skill needs, increase preparedness, and create more sustainable staffing, Sus offers alternating employment for nurses and nursing assistants. By having staff rotate between inpatient and outpatient care, expertise, resource efficiency, and continuity are strengthened, while the work environment improves through more even holiday workload distribution. 1 position(s). DUTIES We are now seeking a registered nurse for our ESWL team as one of our colleagues will soon retire. In the team, you will work independently and as part of a team with a nursing colleague, physician, and medical secretary. You will work with extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy, examination, and follow-up of patients with kidney and ureteral stones. QUALIFICATIONS We welcome you as a registered nurse with authorization to practice in Swedish healthcare, preferably with experience in ESWL operations. Swedish language skills equivalent to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe scale are required. We seek someone with genuine interest in people who always puts the patient in focus.
