About the Operation Specialized palliative care in Dalarna is a regional clinic with several multiprofessional teams covering the entire region. We work with a holistic approach and strive to create security and good quality of life for patients and their loved ones. Job Responsibilities As a registered nurse with us, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives by working with specialized palliative care in patients' homes. You will meet patients of different ages and life situations, with varying diagnoses and complex care needs. No two days are the same. In the role, you will, among other things: - Assess, plan, and follow up on care based on the patient's individual needs and wishes. - Work with advanced medical technology and nursing care, such as central lines, drainage, and medication administration via pump. - Relieve symptoms and provide support to both patients and their loved ones through different phases of illness. - Collaborate closely with physicians, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and social workers to create safe, coordinated, and person-centered care. - Work independently with great freedom and personal responsibility, where you largely plan your own workday and spend a significant amount of time on home visits. This is work that touches you deeply. You will have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships, contribute to quality of life during an important time in people's lives, and be part of an engaged team with high expertise. The role is both developmental and challenging and requires that you meet people with warmth, attentiveness, and reassurance. On-call duty at night is included. Qualifications We are looking for you who: - Are a licensed registered nurse - Have a B driver's license Meritorious: - Experience in palliative care - Experience working in teams We place great importance on personal suitability.
