DUTIES
As a nurse with us, you are part of a health and medical care team with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nursing staff, and a unit manager. You work closely with our benefit administrators, regional primary care, and the unit Close Care and Health and other external care providers, and are a contributing link to good and safe care.
You conduct assessments of care measures and health and medical services. You follow up on medical prescriptions, medication management, wound dressings, etc. You perform risk assessments and follow-ups in Senior Alert together with the team. You are responsible for ensuring that SIP, care plans, and team meetings are planned and conducted in the team with the patient in focus.
You educate and supervise nursing staff, patients, and their relatives.
The position is daytime Monday through Friday as long as Solhem remains in operation. When Solhem is phased out within a 5-year period, you will retain your permanent employment in our organization but will transition to working day/evening and weekends.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse according to the National Board of Health and Welfare.
You should have the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize your work efficiently.
You are good at collaborating with all professional categories and adapt easily to changing circumstances, seeing opportunities instead of obstacles. You should be self-directed with experience working as a nurse; you should be able to work independently and in groups.
We want you to work according to licensed nurses' competency descriptions in your daily work with person-centered care, team collaboration, evidence-based care, improvement knowledge for quality development, and safe care and informatics.
Great importance is placed on personal qualities.
A Class B driving license is required.
If you have a foreign nursing degree, you apply to the National Board of Health and Welfare for Swedish licensure.
Swedish language skills equivalent to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe scale.
Employment form: Permanent employment.
Duration: Start date: 2026-09-01 or by agreement.
Solhem is temporary accommodation that opened in 2022 and is planned to remain until a new care and residential facility in Osby is ready. After phase-out, you retain your permanent position in our department and will work in one of our other operations. With the transition, the position changes from daytime to day/evening and weekends.
There is an opportunity to combine the work with being a part-time firefighter. Assessment will be made based on operational needs.
