Job Description
We are looking for a nurse with experience in pediatric care for our team in department 64 and 74 who wants to contribute to the best care for children aged 0-18 in need of acute healthcare on an inpatient ward. By the end of 2026, our pediatric department will move into new, modern facilities, and we are now looking for dedicated staff members who want to be part of this journey.
We offer you the opportunity to gain broad expertise in pediatric care where you meet patients with various conditions such as diabetes, eating disorders, hand surgery, infections, and appendicitis. No two days are the same, and here you can learn something new every day.
On department 64 and 74, you work in interprofessional teams together with nursing assistants, doctors, meal service staff, play therapists, dietitians, social workers, and medical secretaries at the unit. In your role as a nurse, you have a central task in planning, leading, and carrying out nursing care. We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a team and who wants to actively participate in our work to improve and develop the important care we provide on the ward.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is curious, engaged, flexible, and has good organizational and collaboration skills. You can work independently in your professional role and have the ability to see the whole picture. Furthermore, you are someone who through your approach contributes to a stimulating and safe work environment. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
Competence Requirements
Licensed nurse
Swedish language skills equivalent to at least level C1
Experience working with children and young people in healthcare or acute care. Specialist training in children and adolescents is a merit.
