We are now welcoming a new nurse colleague to our Forensic Psychiatry Outpatient Clinic in Malmö. The forensic psychiatry business area is part of the Department of Psychiatry, Habilitation and Assistive Devices and consists of forensic psychiatric units in Malmö, Trelleborg, Helsingborg, Hässleholm and Kristianstad. We currently have approximately 300 employees and care for individuals sentenced by court to forensic psychiatric care. Many have psychotic disorders, multiple functional disabilities with functional impairments and substance abuse issues. Secondary complications such as lack of formal education, social isolation and exclusion are common. The goal of forensic psychiatric care is to habilitate and rehabilitate individuals suffering from severe mental illness to everyday life in society with increased psychosocial functioning and reduced risk of reoffending. The outpatient clinic in Malmö is responsible for rehabilitation and habilitation of patients sentenced to forensic psychiatric care when inpatient care is no longer considered necessary. Here we work in teams consisting of nurses and care assistants with doctors, psychologists, occupational therapists and social workers attached to the team. In our work we strive for close collaboration with Social Services and other psychiatry in networking around our patients. We also conduct outreach work with home visits to follow up our patients. Here we provide person-centered care and implement our new work method that follows the Flexible Assertive Community (F-ACT) treatment model. Want to know more about what it is like to work with us? WORK TASKS We offer you independent and varied work where you get to use your specific knowledge as a nurse. With us you have time and resources to make a difference for our patients! Care work always starts from the patient's individual needs and you receive an individually adapted introduction with guidance. Competence development and supervision, for example in patient care, takes place continuously. In documentation we use the computer system Melior. In this position there is also the opportunity to work as a nurse with quality assignments parallel to your regular work as a clinical nurse. This assignment includes, among other things, coordinating with the unit manager to follow up deviations, participating in internal audits of the quality management system and communicating new and changed routines and instructions. With us, team collaboration where different competencies and experiences enrich and complement each other is fundamental to our way of working. QUALIFICATIONS We welcome you as a licensed nurse with authorization to practice in Swedish healthcare, preferably with specialist training in psychiatry. You also have Swedish language skills at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale. Since home visits occur, you also need a valid category B driver's license. If you have experience from forensic psychiatric care we see this as a merit for the position.
