About the Position As a registered nurse with us, you work in a team with employees from different professional categories to meet each patient's unique needs. You also have an important leadership function where you ensure that the patient's care is continuously moved forward. As a team leader and role model on the ward, you have your own patient responsibility. Your tasks also include providing support to relatives, taking samples, administering medication, and documenting in the Take Care medical record system. Our Expectations of You We are looking for you who are a licensed registered nurse and have an interest in psychiatric 24-hour care. Previous experience in psychiatric care and/or specialist training in psychiatry is a merit. Good knowledge of Swedish, corresponding to at least C1 level, is a requirement. Work on the ward is varied and eventful, which means you need to have the ability to handle different situations with an open and solution-oriented mindset. You enjoy collaborating in a team where different professional categories meet and are happy to share your experience and knowledge. At the same time, you always put the patient's needs at the center. Your ability to see possibilities and act with care in every unique situation is of great importance to us. We place great emphasis on your experience and personal suitability. About Us Our 24-hour care consists of two wards, Ward 34 and 36, with 16 care beds each. We care for patients according to HSL and LPT. On Ward 34 there is also a separate operation with two detoxification beds where we care for patients admitted according to LOB. On the wards, registered nurses, nursing assistants, social workers, and physicians work. We receive patients from all diagnostic groups, which makes the work varied and very interesting. Psychiatry Center Södertälje is a specialist psychiatric clinic within Stockholm County Health Care Area (SLSO). The clinic has 3 outpatient units and two 24-hour care wards. With our 200 employees, we are a small clinic where you get the opportunity to influence and develop the operations. Employment Form Permanent employment, full-time. Trial employment may be applied. For patient-facing work within Stockholm County Health Care Area: - a criminal record check is applied before an employment decision according to SLSO's overarching instructions for criminal record checks upon employment. - employees who will have patient contact must undergo a new employee health examination, according to applicable directives, which takes place through occupational health services before employment. - in addition to Swedish professional license, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required.
