Then this might be the position for you! At Hässleholm Hospital, approximately 300 employees work within the orthopedic department and conduct operations at hospitals in Hässleholm and Kristianstad. In Hässleholm, there is a small hospital with a big heart, and we provide our patients with security when their health falters. Our orthopedic department has 19 care beds for planned operations that are primarily focused on hip and knee, but other operations such as spine, shoulder, and foot also occur. Operations are scheduled on weekdays. Our patients are fundamentally healthy and have a short care period. We are proud of our short hospital stays and well-developed care pathways, which we continuously work to improve. We also conduct the project Future of Orthopedics Hässleholm (FORTH) with planned new construction of the entire operating unit. This is an exciting development of orthopedic operations, with large high-tech operating rooms. This will include, among other things, innovative development of patient processes regarding logistics, personnel, and equipment. 1 position(s). WORK TASKS We are now looking for a nurse colleague to join us. We welcome both you with more experience and you who are newly qualified. In your role as a nurse with us, you will perform common nursing tasks in an orthopedic department. You will work with preoperative preparations and postoperative care as well as documentation. The work is characterized by caring for healthy and well patients who are admitted for planned operations and recover quickly. Our focus is to provide the patient with the best possible care, and you will be an important part of that work and our team. We have good cohesion with experienced colleagues in the field. Development work of the care flow is a natural part of our operations, and we encourage all our employees to participate. In the department, we have access to an education nurse who plans introductions, holds reflections, provides training days, and micro-training for skills development. The education nurse also provides clinical supervision. As a new employee, you will receive an individually adapted introduction based on your previous experience. QUALIFICATIONS You are a licensed nurse with authorization to work in Swedish healthcare. Swedish language skills equivalent to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe scale are required. Additionally, it is an advantage if you have experience from ward work and/or orthopedic operations. Salary range: 35,000-45,000 kr/month, depending on experience and qualifications.
