About the Operation Västernorrland is one of five regions in the country that, on assignment from the National Board of Health and Welfare, conducts nationally specialized care (NHV) for serious eating disorders. We at Nationally Specialized Care at Region Västernorrland offer high-intensity treatment for individuals over 18 years of age, based on many years of experience in eating disorder care. NHV works closely with other psychiatric operations within Västernorrland County. Now we are looking for a registered nurse to join the team! This position is a permanent, full-time employment with a start date by agreement. Job Responsibilities As a registered nurse, you will participate in a team that provides eating disorder treatment to individuals suffering from serious eating disorders. The treatment is multifaceted and your responsibilities include, among other things: Environmental therapy Somatic care Group therapy Support for patients during meals Dialogue with patients and relatives about care You will also: Develop care plans together with the team Conduct somatic assessments Administer medication Knowledge development is important in this operation. Both internal training and collaboration with other NHV units for training will take place. In parallel, regular supervision will be provided.
