About the Operation Västernorrland is one of five regions in the country that, on behalf of the National Board of Health and Welfare, conducts national highly specialized care (NHV) for serious eating disorders. At the National Highly Specialized Care unit at Region Västernorrland, we offer intensive treatment for individuals over 18 years of age, based on years of experience in eating disorder care. NHV works closely with other psychiatric activities in the Västernorrland region. Now we are looking for a nurse to join the team! The position is a permanent, full-time employment with a start date by agreement. Job Responsibilities As a nurse, you will participate in a team that provides eating disorder treatment to individuals suffering from serious eating disorders. The treatment is multifaceted and your responsibilities include: Environmental therapy Somatic care Group therapy Support during meal situations for patients Dialogue with patients and their families about care You will also: Develop care planning together with the team Conduct somatic assessments Administer medication Knowledge development is important in this operation. Both internal training and collaboration with other NHV units for education will take place. Regular supervision will be provided in parallel.
