Psychosis Care Stockholm is a newly established operation within the Stockholm County health care district. Here we gather care for patients over 18 years old with psychotic illness in one organizational unit. We offer assessment, investigation, and treatment according to national guidelines and regional care programs. Within Psychosis Care Stockholm we conduct development work, education, and research on psychotic illness. Specialist Psychiatric Outpatient Clinic 5, S:t Eriksplan is a unit within Psychosis Care Stockholm and is centrally located in the Atlas area near Vasaparken. The clinic has excellent access to public transportation with buses, subway, and commuter trains. Description Our psychosis clinic is a unique workplace and we who work here are very proud of the qualitative and often life-saving work we perform. We also see patient participation and collaboration with family and care neighbors as very important. We offer investigation and treatment based on regional care programs and national guidelines. The clinic is running several development projects. Specialist Psychiatric Outpatient Clinic 5, S:t Eriksplan is primarily responsible for patients with psychotic illness living in central Stockholm (Kungsholmen, Norrmalm, and Östermalm) but also has some private patients from other areas. At the clinic, which has 30 employees, we work in multiprofessional teams consisting of doctors, nurses, Case Managers, psychologists, social workers, occupational therapist, rehabilitation coordinator, employment specialist, medical secretaries, and unit manager. A mobile emergency team is available to assist patients during on-call hours. Ten nurses currently work at the clinic. There is a relaxed and supportive atmosphere in the nursing group and we support each other in daily work. Job Responsibilities You will be part of one of our multiprofessional teams where you contribute your specific expertise in our pursuit of providing the best evidence-based care and treatment to our patients. Standard nursing tasks such as medication responsibility/drug administration and injection treatment. You will be a fixed care contact for a number of patients where you have an important coordinating function. Independently conduct psychiatric treatment work. Collaborate internally and externally. Clinic visits and home visits. Within your specialist expertise you will have the opportunity to lead groups/group treatments. Documentation in the Take Care system. Qualifications Licensed nurse. Meritorious are specialist education in psychiatry and experience working with our patient group, preferably in outpatient care. Great weight is placed on personal qualities. Personal Qualities You are passionate about psychosis care and development work, have good collaboration skills, and value teamwork. You are responsible, solution-oriented, and contribute with creativity and humor. Terms Permanent employment, 40 hours/week. Probation may be applied. Start date by agreement.
