Description Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Affective Clinic Kungälv is part of the Psychiatry Operations at Kungälv Hospital and is located at Rollsbovägen 58 in Kungälv. There are good connections to Gothenburg. Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Kungälv Hospital has a clinic in Stenungsund and two clinics in Kungälv. In addition to the affective clinic, there is a clinic for patients with neuropsychiatric issues in Kungälv. We are now seeking an employee for the mobile team, which is based at the affective clinic. The clinic has a senior consultant, nurses, psychologists, social workers, secretaries, and a unit manager. Access is also available to a speech therapist and occupational therapist, who are employed at the neuropsychiatric unit. The operations are characterized by high expertise and a high degree of collaboration, conducted from a multiprofessional perspective. In addition to various types of conversations, we also conduct group activities. All professional groups receive continuous supervision based on their profession. Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Affective Clinic has emergency readiness during daytime hours. We launched the mobile team in project form in autumn 2023 and the team was made permanent in 2025. The mobile team serves patients in our catchment area; Tjörn, Stenungsund, Kungälv, and Ale municipalities, who are already under care at one of the three Child and Adolescent Psychiatry clinics. Work Tasks Assessments and treatment interventions aimed at children and adolescents with psychiatric issues who, for various reasons, have difficulty attending the clinic or school, or in cases where an intervention at home would be beneficial. This can include, for example, following up subacute patients or implementing interventions aimed at children and/or parents that can help get the child to school or to a scheduled appointment at the clinic. The work is carried out on assignment from one of the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry clinics and in consultation with the unit manager but is conducted independently. The work includes collaboration with neighboring care units, schools, and social services. Qualifications We are looking for someone interested in working in our mobile team within child and adolescent psychiatry. You are a person with drive and commitment who is accustomed to working independently and who is not afraid of new challenges. It is advantageous if you have experience working in psychiatry and if you have worked with children and young people. Previous experience of mobile work is also advantageous. As most of the work will be conducted outside the clinic, you need to have a driving license category B. A company car is available.
