Description Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Affective Clinic in Kungälv is part of Psychiatry Services at Kungälv Hospital and is located at Rollsbovägen 58 in Kungälv. There are good connections to Gothenburg. Child and adolescent psychiatry at Kungälv Hospital has a clinic in Stenungsund and two clinics in Kungälv. In addition to the affective clinic, there is a clinic for patients with neuropsychiatric issues in Kungälv. It is for the mobile team, which is based at the affective clinic, that we are now seeking an employee. At the clinic there are senior physicians, nurses, psychologists, social workers, secretaries and a unit manager. Access is also available to a speech and language pathologist and an occupational therapist, who are employed at the neuropsychiatric unit. The service is characterized by high expertise and a high degree of collaboration, and is conducted from a multidisciplinary perspective. In addition to various types of conversations, we also conduct group activities. All professional groups receive continuous supervision according to their profession. Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Affective Clinic has emergency services during daytime. We started the mobile team in project form in autumn 2023 and the team became permanent in 2025. The mobile team serves patients in our catchment area; Tjörn, Stenungsund, Kungälv and Ale municipalities, who are already active at one of the three child and adolescent psychiatry clinics. Work Tasks Assessments and treatment interventions aimed at children and young people with psychiatric issues, who for various reasons have difficulty coming to the clinic or to school, or in cases where an intervention in the home is considered important. This could, for example, involve following up subacute patients or implementing interventions aimed at children and/or parents that can help get the child to school or to the clinic for a scheduled appointment. The work is carried out on behalf of one of the child and adolescent psychiatry clinics and in consultation with the unit manager but is conducted independently. The work includes collaboration with neighboring care units, schools and social services. Qualifications We are looking for someone interested in working in our mobile team within child and adolescent psychiatry. You are a person with drive and commitment who is used to working independently and you are not afraid of new challenges. It is advantageous if you have experience working in psychiatry and if you have worked with children and young people. Previous experience with mobile work is also advantageous. Since most of the work will be conducted outside the clinic, you need to have a category B driving license. A company car is provided.
