Centralsjukhuset i Kristianstad (CSK) is northeastern Skåne's acute care hospital. Acute care services are provided around the clock by qualified and dedicated staff members. CSK combines the resources of a large hospital with the closeness and community of a smaller one. We have approximately 2,600 employees.
The gastroenterology clinic is part of the medical operations area at CSK. Our team consists of well-functioning physicians, nurses, nursing assistants, and medical secretaries. We care for patients who need endoscopic procedures such as gastroscopy, colonoscopy, or bronchoscopy to examine and/or treat the stomach and intestines due to diagnosed disease. We also treat patients with inflammatory bowel and liver diseases.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
We look forward to welcoming a nurse who wants to join our team!
As a nurse at our clinic, you'll care for patients, assist the endoscopist, administer medications, and monitor and document the course of care. Additionally, you'll work with specimen collection, medication treatment, examination, and other treatments for patients with gastroenterological and liver diseases. We work extensively with medical technology equipment.
You'll work both at the clinic, where you provide treatment to our patients with inflammatory bowel and liver diseases, and with endoscopy. Your role may include planning the day's schedule, including acute patients, as well as patient booking and telephone consultations. We value professional development, so we offer continuing professional training every other week and education in current relevant areas on alternating weeks.
You'll receive an orientation tailored to your needs and previous experience. Work hours are daytime, Monday through Friday.
QUALIFICATIONS
You are a licensed nurse with authorization to practice within Swedish healthcare. Swedish language proficiency equivalent to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe scale is required. It is advantageous for the position if you have experience from endoscopy and nurse clinics. We welcome your interest in inflammatory bowel and liver diseases as well as medical technology equipment.
