Kullen is located at Ekerö center and consists of 8 departments with a total of 82 residential places. Our residents have either cognitive difficulties or somatic diseases. We are a dementia-certified residential facility, which means that everyone who works here is trained in dementia and care through Silviahemmet. About the role You are the hub around the residents' health and medical care services and work to provide quality of life. You are responsible for ensuring that medical prescriptions are followed. Regularly, you conduct risk assessments and follow-ups to ensure good quality in operations. Your experience and knowledge You are a licensed nurse and we would like you to have worked for a few years in elderly care. Our residents are often multimorbid, and this requires you to have both comprehensive knowledge of various diseases and conditions as well as an interest in the aging person. Good computer skills and experience with documentation are important. We hope that you enjoy working independently and having the freedom to shape your workdays feel confident in your role as a nurse and can make quick decisions and have a discussion with the responsible doctor take your own initiative, have drive, and dare to take responsibility like having a leadership role and supporting your colleagues are used to structuring and organizing your work. Collaboration and support You are part of a team with care staff, nurses, an occupational therapist, and a physiotherapist. An important role for you is to coach and train the care staff so that together you give each resident the best possible life. In this, you work closely with the facility's group managers who are responsible for the care staff. Our group managers also coach and work together with the teams in daily operations. We invest in leadership development for you as a nurse. One course we can offer you is "Leading Without Being a Manager." As a new nurse with us, you participate in our digital introduction program together with your mentor to ensure that you receive a clear introduction with the goal of quickly getting into the work and our procedures.
