Registered Nurse for Municipal Primary Care – do you want to make a difference every day?

We are now recruiting licensed nurses for our municipal primary care – a service where you make a real difference.
About the Position
As a nurse in municipal primary care, you work independently and in a team to provide qualified health and nursing care in patients' homes or in residential facilities. You will meet patients of all ages with varying needs, which provides a broad and stimulating assignment.
The work includes:
Assessment, planning, and follow-up of nursing interventions
Medication management and medical treatments
Cooperation with doctors, rehabilitation staff, and care personnel
Guidance and support to nursing staff
Contribute to and develop proximity care initiatives
Documentation in accordance with applicable legislation

We work two weekends out of every ten weeks. Other work time is scheduled during daytime.
Job Responsibilities
Typical tasks within municipal primary care
Work independently and in a team with assessments and interventions
Perform medical procedures
Delegate and guide nursing staff
Work in close cooperation with nursing staff, unit managers, doctors, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and nurse colleagues
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who:
Is a licensed registered nurse
Is confident in your role as a nurse
Has the ability to work independently and make decisions
Has a structured work approach and can prioritize in a varied work environment
Has good collaborative skills and contributes to a positive team climate
Holds a valid driver's license (category B)
It is advantageous if you have:
Experience from municipal primary care or regional primary care
Specialist training in a relevant field
Great importance is placed on personal suitability.

For positions where licensure/valid credentials from the National Board of Health and Welfare are required, these must be submitted before employment.
Language assessment is conducted for certain professional groups before employment can be considered.
Criminal record checks are conducted for all positions within the social services department.
For positions in HVB (residential care) services, a HVB-home certificate is requested.
For positions in services targeting children with disabilities, certificates for children with disabilities and a personal background check are requested.
For other positions within the social services department, a personal background check certificate is requested.
If the certificate is not digital, it should be brought in an unopened envelope at the time of verification.

Employment is conditional upon required decisions being made. For positions where the work involves direct and regular contact with children and young people, and for activities within the Swedish Disability Services Act, care and nursing, health and medical care, psychiatric care, and substance abuse care, a valid criminal record certificate from the police must be presented or submitted before employment. Note that it can take time to obtain the certificate, so order it in good time so that the recruitment process is not delayed.
