On Cognitive Acute Care Unit 94, we care for patients who have suffered cognitive impairment, have complex medical care needs, and often multiple comorbidities. Work Tasks
Here we provide care and treatment to patients who have suffered cognitive impairment, dementia, acute cognitive problems, and behavioral and psychological symptoms in dementia (BPSD). We collaborate with the psychiatric clinic as patients are sometimes cared for with us following a decision on compulsory psychiatric care. It is common for patients to also have concurrent care needs for various somatic medical conditions that can be both acute and chronic in nature. Working as a nurse with us is both developmental and educational!
The unit has 12 care beds. As a nurse, you are responsible for six patients during day and evening shifts and work in a team together with experienced and competent colleagues. We offer you varied and stimulating work where you as a nurse have great opportunities to develop in your professional role as well as influence and contribute with your previous experience in our operations.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who:
are a licensed nurse.
have an interest in/experience working with patients with cognitive diseases.
have an understanding of the importance of good treatment.
are flexible and responsible.
enjoy working in a team and value close collaboration between different professions.
We place great emphasis on personal qualities.
