As a nurse, you will work closely with an experienced nurse colleague and together with four highly competent nursing assistants. One of the assistants has the role of section leader, and two are specialist nurses with specialization in surgery and orthopedics respectively. Together we create a work environment where we support each other, leverage each other's competencies, and work toward common goals. The clinic is open on weekdays (Monday to Friday), excluding holidays. The position involves daytime work, which gives you free weekends and public holidays and good opportunities for balance between work and leisure. Duties As a nurse at our surgery, orthopedics, and urology clinic, you will have a central role in daily clinic operations. You work closely with physicians and other professionals to ensure good and patient-safe care, while independently managing your own patient contacts. Your duties include clinic operations, telephone advice, patient assessment and follow-up, and wound care work. You also assist with clinic procedures and participate in pre- and post-operative care. The work involves great variety where you need to be able to switch between scheduled patient visits, consultations, and more urgent matters. We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a team and contributing to good collaboration, but who also feels confident making independent decisions and driving your work autonomously. The role requires flexibility, good prioritization skills, and a professional approach when interacting with patients and colleagues. Qualifications We are looking for a registered nurse with several years of experience in surgery, orthopedics, and urology. Experience in clinic operations, telephone advice, and wound care is an asset. To thrive and succeed in this role, you need to be confident in your profession and able to work both independently and in close collaboration with others. You have good decision-making skills, while also valuing contribution to good teamwork where the patient's needs always come first.
