We have a varied patient flow that includes everything from acute surgical illnesses and trauma to seriously ill cancer patients. You will work in teams with nursing assistants, physicians, physiotherapists, and dietitians. As a nurse, this means you have broad support in your role! Job responsibilities We are seeking a nurse who wants to work with pre- and post-operative care, which includes clinical assessments, ward rounds, medication handling, and specimen collection. Surgical nursing also includes management of drains, wounds, and medical equipment. The department has supporting functions including specialist nurses with extensive surgical nursing expertise, pharmacists, and patient-near services. We provide individually tailored orientation. Qualifications We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse, interested in surgery, and comfortable working both in teams and independently with varying tasks. You work responsibly and evidence-based with adherence to our routines. This role suits you if you are a newly educated nurse, but also if you want to continue growing as we have significant opportunities within the clinic.
