We provide healthcare within the field of heart disease in adults of all ages and offer highly specialized care to Jönköping, Kalmar, and Östergötland, as well as national specialty care. We have a large cardiology operation consisting of several units: Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (HIA), acute care unit within cardiology (unit C117), pre- and post-operative unit (ÖVA and unit C118), interventional radiology unit, and outpatient clinic. We care for acute patients from the emergency department and other hospitals in the region. Job Description With us, we work "for the heart with heart." We offer varied work with good development opportunities. Clinical work is performed in interprofessional teams with a patient-centered approach. In our acute operations, we are open 24 hours a day. We have both a cardiac intensive care unit, HIA, and an acute care unit, unit C117. Both units are suitable for you if you thrive in a fast-paced environment, with patients of varying complexity, and if you enjoy new challenges. Our elective operations, unit C118, have high patient flow and short hospital stays, with care levels varying from light to moderate. The elective unit is suitable for you if you enjoy varying pace and prefer more predictable daily planning. Currently, we primarily need staff for our acute operations (C117 and HIA), but the clinic has a well-developed rotation between units, so in the longer term, there may be opportunities for rotation. Rotation may be to another care unit, outpatient clinic, or laboratory operations. Work Team The interprofessional teams consist of nurses, nursing assistants, doctors, physiotherapists, occupational therapist, dietitian, and social worker. Care work is performed in care teams with nurses and nursing assistants. Work is conducted in close collaboration with adjacent units. Since you will work in constant dialogue with patients and colleagues, it is a requirement that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. As a person, you are confident, stable, adaptable to different situations, and have good collaborative skills. You plan, organize, and prioritize your workday for the patient's benefit. You have good empathetic ability, are thorough, and committed to working with quality in a goal-oriented manner. You enjoy being part of an interprofessional team focused on the patient, where all professions learn from each other. You are curious, take own initiatives, and want to contribute to developing the operations.
