We offer highly specialized cardiac care and have overall responsibility for patients in the region. The Heart Center includes the Cardiology Outpatient Clinic, Thoracic Surgery, Cardiology, PCI Lab, Arrhythmia Unit, Clinical Physiology, and the Center for Cardiovascular Genetics. We diagnose, treat, and operate on patients from across the northern region with diseases of the heart, lungs, and coronary arteries. Through cross-boundary collaboration, efficient care pathways, continuous improvement efforts, and a skilled workforce, we can offer very high-quality care. In close cooperation with the university, we conduct research, development, and education. We have approximately 400 employees at the Heart Center. At the Cardiology Outpatient Clinic, registered nurses, nursing assistants, physiotherapists, social workers, medical secretaries, and physicians work together. We collaborate across professions to provide good care and continuously improve our services. You will meet a diverse patient population with cardiovascular diseases, such as atherosclerosis, heart failure, and arrhythmias. The clinic also serves patients with pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH), adults with congenital heart defects (ACHD), and post-heart transplant patients. We are now seeking a registered nurse to join our wonderful team at the Cardiology Outpatient Clinic. You will find a well-functioning clinic with job satisfaction, expertise, and an open atmosphere. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a registered nurse with us, you will contribute knowledge and commitment that make people feel secure. In your role as a registered nurse, you will follow up with patients after interventions and surgeries for conditions such as myocardial infarction, heart failure, and atrial fibrillation. You provide information, advice, and support regarding the disease, treatment, and lifestyle habits. You work closely with physicians and other professionals. The work includes conducting your own clinic visits and following up with patients via telephone and digital contacts. The position also involves routine clinic tasks such as telephone advice, communication via 1177, patient administration, documentation, and planning and coordinating visits and interventions. The role offers significant opportunities for autonomy, development, and specialization in cardiac care. You work both independently and as part of a team, responsible for your own patient flows within the clinic's various functions, with a person-centered approach based on each patient's needs, resources, and participation. Together with your colleagues, you contribute to a good work environment and professional conduct where the patient's needs always come first. QUALIFICATIONS We are seeking a licensed registered nurse with experience in cardiac care. Experience with outpatient work and/or specialist nursing in cardiac care is an advantage. You have a strong ability to work independently while valuing collaboration and contributing to a good work environment.
