Would you like to work as a nurse in home care at Ektorp Primary Care Center? Our well-functioning primary care center is located at Nacka Hospital near Ektorp Center, in Nacka Municipality. It has excellent public transportation and is just a short distance from Slussen and the City center. The area serves a diverse population ranging from young children to elderly residents. Ektorp Primary Care Center is a well-functioning workplace where we work together to develop our services. We create our workplace together and keep the patient in focus in all situations. At the primary care center, nurses, district nurses, psychologists, and medical secretaries and nursing assistants work together with doctors and home care staff. We maintain open dialogue and close teamwork in all patient contact. Our home care team consists of 3 nurses/district nurses and 5 nursing assistants as well as a home care physician. Learn more about us at www.slso.sll.se. Responsibilities The work involves typical tasks for a district nurse or nurse within the primary care center's home care service. This includes home visits with wound dressings, blood draws, medication distribution, as well as planning and conversations with relatives or home service providers. Our opening hours for basic home care are weekdays 08:00-17:00; we will agree on a schedule together when employment is finalized. Qualifications Nursing education with experience in primary care and home care. You should also have good computer skills and experience with the TakeCare patient record system. It is an advantage, but not necessary, if you have district nursing education and experience acting as a coordinator. Driver's license category B is a requirement. Personal Qualities We place great emphasis on personal suitability, commitment, and good collaboration skills. You drive your own work but also want to contribute to the overall functioning of the primary care center and develop our services together with us. Employment Type Permanent employment, full-time. For patient-facing work within Stockholm County Healthcare: - a background check is conducted before an employment decision according to SLSO's general instructions for background checks in hiring. - employees who will have patient contact must undergo a new employee health examination according to current directives, which is conducted by occupational health services before employment. - in addition to Swedish professional credentials, good knowledge of Swedish language at level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required.
