DUTIES
As a nurse in home care services, you are part of a work team where we collaborate together to ensure our patients receive good and safe care. Our new organization gives you the opportunity to be part of developing care based on individual needs, and you also have the chance to contribute to the development of our work methods. With us, we work closely together as all licensed personnel are gathered both organizationally and physically. This facilitates collaboration between our different professions and above all benefits our patients. Other important collaborators are our nursing assistants, case handlers, managers, as well as relatives and physicians.
Work as a nurse in home care services involves assessing, planning, organizing, and performing medical treatment and care interventions. You are also responsible for guiding and delegating care personnel and providing support to others on the patient's team.
We work based on each individual's need for care, treatment, and service. Person-centered care is important. Our values are based on good interactions, security, and participation for the individual.
The position includes some evening and weekend shifts. There is opportunity to influence work hours and there is also opportunity for further training during work time.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. It is meriting if you have previous experience within municipal home care services or are a specialist-trained district nurse.
You have a positive view of people and the ability to see each individual's needs. You are interested in learning more, while being able to share your knowledge. Since we work with many other professions, we place great emphasis on your ability to collaborate and work in teams, but it is also important that you can independently plan your work tasks.
A driver's license is required.
