Gustavsgården is a municipal special residential facility for elderly people, beautifully located in pleasant surroundings in central Gustavsberg. For us, the elderly person and their needs are at the center. We work to create security, continuity and good quality of life for our residents. As a nurse, you will be an important part of our multidisciplinary team, where nurses and nursing assistants are available around the clock. On weekdays, occupational therapists and physiotherapists are also included. Together we work to provide our residents with safe and person-centered care and support. Gustavsgården has both somatic care and dementia care focus, which provides a varied and developmental work environment. Your Assignment As a nurse at Gustavsgården, you will have a central role in planning, coordinating and following up on elderly residents' healthcare needs. You work closely with the elderly and their relatives and have close collaboration with other professionals in the team. The role includes, among other things: assessing and monitoring healthcare needs planning and coordinating care interventions guiding and supporting care personnel cooperating with occupational therapists, physiotherapists and nursing assistants maintaining contact and cooperating with the responsible physician, relatives, social welfare administrators and other stakeholders contributing to the development of working methods and quality in the operations. You work independently in your profession, while at the same time having close support and collaboration with colleagues in the team. Your Experience We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse and who enjoy working independently, taking responsibility and prioritizing your tasks based on the needs of the operations and the elderly. We would appreciate it if you have experience working with people with cognitive impairment and if you have education or further training in dementia care. Experience meeting people with complex care needs is an asset. You are confident in your professional role and find it easy to build good relationships. Most importantly, you have the right competence, commitment and willingness to contribute to a positive work environment.
