About the role You are the hub around the residents' health and medical care services and work to provide quality of life. You are responsible for ensuring that medical prescriptions are followed. You regularly conduct risk assessments and follow-ups to ensure good quality in the operations. Collaboration and support You are part of a team with care staff, nurses, occupational therapist, and physiotherapist. An important role for you is to coach and train the care staff so that together you give each resident as good a life as possible. There are 44 residential places distributed across four units. 33 places with a dementia focus and 11 places with specialized residential care for psychogeriatric diseases. We have daily activities for residents and we use our courtyard as much as we can. Your experience and knowledge You are a licensed nurse and we would like to see that you have worked a few years in elderly care. Our residents often have multiple illnesses and that requires you to have both comprehensive knowledge of different diseases and conditions as well as an interest in the aging person. Good computer skills and experience with documentation are important.
