About the Job We are seeking a nurse for Healthcare within the Functional Support area in Angered, a pleasant workplace where you will meet a manager and colleagues who are committed to creating a good work environment and having fun at work! We work with patients who have congenital or acquired functional disabilities and who live in supported housing with special services. Many of the patients also participate in daily activities at day centers. Currently, we are geographically based out of the healthcare unit's office at Angered Square, but from spring 2027 we will be operating from our new shared facilities in Gamlestaden. Our residences are located both in the district center and in rural areas. In the team you will find several occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and nurses who work with the same residences and daily activities as you. As a nurse, you are responsible for setting goals, planning, leading, and following up on care. The role also includes supervising and delegating tasks to care staff. Patients' healthcare needs vary from preventive to medical treatment interventions, which contributes to varied and stimulating work. We provide person-centered care and support, and you are an important person in many patients' daily lives. It is a merit if you have further education in psychiatry or experience as a nurse, particularly with psychiatric patients or people with functional disabilities, but newly graduated nurses are also welcome to apply. Your role includes documentation in various digital systems, so it is important that you have good computer skills. You also need to have good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written, to adapt communication and information according to the situation and patient's needs. Since we work within a large geographic area, a B-class driver's license and driving experience are required. Since nursing work with us is independent, we see that you have the ability to make decisions within the scope of your assignment, but also that you consult with your colleagues to move forward. Furthermore, you have good collaboration skills and work together with others to perform tasks and achieve goals. You understand the common mission, act based on it, and contribute to the whole.
