Do you want to be part of an organization that makes a difference for children and young people? BUP Kungsholmen is seeking a specialist registered nurse. BUP Kungsholmen is an outpatient clinic that provides modern child and adolescent psychiatry at specialist level. We are responsible for assessing and treating psychiatric illnesses and conditions in children and young people, 0-17 years old, primarily residing in the districts of Kungsholmen, Norrmalm, and Östermalm. BUP Kungsholmen also houses the Finnish team, which offers care in Finnish to children and young people from across the region. We specialize in family-based eating disorder treatment (FBT) and trauma-focused CBT (TF-CBT). We are now seeking a specialist registered nurse for our medical team. The team currently consists of three full-time specialist physicians and four specialist registered nurses. The team also includes rotating residents, approximately 2-3 per term. The clinic is centrally located on Hantverkargatan in Stockholm. The staff group consists of approximately 35 employees, including the above-mentioned, as well as psychologists, social workers, occupational therapist, medical secretaries, administrator, and facility manager. It is a very pleasant and competent work group with an open atmosphere and strong forward momentum. The clinic has clear working methods and procedures for how we perform our work, and we have well-developed administrative support from our administrative team. When you join us as a new nurse at our clinic, we will tailor your introduction based on your experience and needs. You will receive an overview of our working methods, procedures, and what is expected of you. There is an opportunity to observe and familiarize yourself with child and adolescent psychiatric work. Job Responsibilities As a nurse at BUP Kungsholmen, you have an important role at the clinic. Your responsibilities include managing follow-ups for, among other things, antipsychotics and SSRIs, providing lectures on ADHD medication, and handling prescription renewals. All our nurses have completed training in Family-Based Eating Disorder Treatment (FBT) and work with it. Your responsibilities also include mentoring students. Qualifications You must be a licensed registered nurse with specialist training in psychiatry. It is advantageous to have experience from child and adolescent psychiatry or adult psychiatry, to have worked with ADHD medication and/or SSRI medication, or to have worked with eating disorders. Knowledge of Finnish is also advantageous. Personal Qualities You are independent, flexible, and stable. To succeed in this role, you have good collaborative skills.
