Crown Princess Victoria's Children's and Youth Hospital where we have close collaboration with our other care units. BOND is one of six oncology centers in Sweden with a catchment area in the Southeastern hospital region. The pediatric oncology unit also includes day care services and outpatient clinics. These activities are integrated with the inpatient ward and operated in close collaboration with BOND. Staff groups work closely together and knowledge exchange between units occurs as needed. Job Description As a nurse at BOND H.K.H Crown Princess Victoria's Children's and Youth Hospital, University Hospital, you work based on our core values – always putting children first. At BOND we assess and treat children and young people with oncological and serious hematological diseases, children and young people in need of neurosurgical interventions, and children and young people with diabetes. This makes our operations very varied and stimulating. No two days are the same, and there are great opportunities for skill development within pediatric care. We work with children and young people suffering from diseases within oncology, neurosurgery, and diabetes, with the possibility of two intermediate care positions for our most medically demanding and seriously ill children and young people. With nine care beds, we care for children and young people aged 0-18 years. The entire family is an important part of the care process. We continuously work on care development so that our patients receive the best care and we strive for high patient safety. The work involves rotation of day, evening, and night shifts. You have the opportunity to influence your working hours and salary through an individual schedule and point system, which can provide a reduced working time of 32 h/week or less. About You We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse, with or without previous professional experience. Experience working with children and specialist training in pediatric care is a merit but not a requirement. Since you work in constant dialogue with patients and colleagues, it is a requirement that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. You are organized and can prioritize and make quick decisions when required. It is self-evident that you have good collaboration skills and that you contribute with a positive and professional approach in your work. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
