About the Service
The Psychiatric Clinic Team in Rättvik is staffed up to the nursing level, with similar clinic teams located in both Mora and Malung. Our shared physician team, mobile teams (PEA-team), administrative team, and assessment and treatment team operate from Mora. We work in close collaboration across teams and can be flexible regarding which clinic location you work from during your hours. For this position, remote work may be accepted if deemed appropriate based on qualifications. We serve a unified community mental health system across Region Dalarna, which includes collaboration with community mental health clinics in other locations that is ongoing and developing. Inpatient care is available in Falun and Säter.
Our working hours are weekdays (Monday-Friday) 8-17 with weekends and holidays off, so you can plan your time and spend time with loved ones during Christmas, New Year's, and Easter holidays. The Region's flexible work agreement applies.
Responsibilities
We are seeking a nurse to join our addiction services team in Community Mental Health Dalarna, based in Rättvik.
Patient care is divided into different functional areas such as neuropsychiatry, psychosis care, addiction services, and care for affective disorders, though cross-functional cases also occur. This position is primarily focused on addiction services.
As a nurse on our clinic team, you will see patients for many different types of visits. Your responsibilities include conducting psychiatric assessments and follow-ups, managing medications—including distribution, administration, and monitoring—as well as collecting samples. We also provide telephone consultations and offer patient education both in groups and individually. We collaborate with families, other care providers, and inpatient services. We offer visits at the clinic, digital appointments, and occasionally home visits. We work closely as a team within our clinic and also with other clinics in the Region's community mental health network. Within addiction services specifically, there is extensive collaboration with municipal services and primary care. We have a multidisciplinary addiction services team within community mental health and also an integrated addiction clinic partnering with primary care centers and municipal services in the areas we serve, where we can see patients together during designated time (1 day/week) and coordinate care planning across different organizations.
Onboarding takes place on-site and is tailored to individual needs.
Qualifications
Licensed registered nurse.
Further education or experience working with a focus on addiction and comorbidities is desired, or alternatively work/experience that can be assessed as equivalent.
Further education in psychiatry is considered a merit, as is psychiatric experience—but it is not required.
Valid driver's license (category B) is required.
