The staffing unit is part of the HR department and is tasked with supporting Region Gävleborg's operations with short-term staffing solutions. As a pool-employed nurse, you will be introduced to several of our care units, including orthopedics, internal medicine, and cardiology. WORK DUTIES As a nurse, your task is to staff care units at Hudiksvall Hospital to help and support staff during absences. You will be introduced to 4-5 different care units. The nature of the work will vary as you will work broadly with multiple shorter assignments based on the needs of our care units. The work involves working hours throughout all hours of the day and all days of the year, such as day, evening, night, and weekend shifts. As a nurse with us, you will, among other things: • administer medications • coordinate care and medical interventions in close collaboration with nursing assistants and physicians • perform unit-specific nursing tasks. As a nurse with us, you should have: • nursing license • at least four years of clinical experience • good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. It is meritorious if you have broad experience from different care areas and/or experience in acute care.
