JOB DUTIES
As a nurse, your task is to staff care units at Gävle Hospital to help and support staff during absences. You will be introduced to 4-5 different care units. The nature of the work will vary as you will work broadly with multiple shorter assignments based on the needs of our care units. The work involves scheduling across all hours of the day and all days of the year, such as day, evening, night, and weekend shifts.
As a nurse with us, you will, among other things:
• administer medications
• coordinate nursing and medical interventions in close collaboration with nursing assistants and physicians
• perform unit-specific nursing tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with great commitment who enjoys variety where no two days are alike. You have good collaboration skills, communicate well, and convey messages adapted to the recipient. You are responsive and have the ability to understand others' perspectives or situations. Furthermore, we see that you can prioritize tasks, maintain focus in pressured situations, and quickly handle problems that arise. At the same time, you are self-directed and adapt easily to changing circumstances.
As a nurse with us, you should have:
• a nursing license
• at least four years of clinical experience
• good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
It is an advantage if you have broad experience from different healthcare areas and/or experience in acute care. If you have experience with the care system Cosmic, that is also an advantage for this position.
