We are now recruiting a nurse for the pediatric department. A secure workplace with the child at the center of focus. What you will be working with The Pediatric Clinic is part of the Medical and Acute Care Division. The department consists of 8 care beds; a clinic in Gällivare and a clinic in Kiruna. The unit also includes pediatric rehabilitation and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. The pediatric department operates 24/7, with some on-call services. We care for children from premature week 32 up to 18 years of age. Pediatric Medicine, Pediatric Surgery, Pediatric Orthopedics, and Pediatric Infection. We have on-call clinics in the evenings and on weekends at the department. We have close cooperation with the Maternity Ward/Labor regarding the newborn child. We work in pair care as much as possible, with one nurse and one pediatric nurse/assistant. The clinic invests heavily in competence development. Working hours include shift work with weekend duty (2 out of 5 weekends). Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreement.
