Work Tasks
As a nurse with us, you work in an outpatient clinic with patient meetings both in person and digitally. You are primarily responsible for follow-up and medication management for children and adolescents with ADHD diagnosis, but other psychiatric conditions also occur. The work also involves contact with guardians and collaboration with other actors such as schools, social services, and other parts of the healthcare system.
You will have the opportunity to influence and develop the service. Within BUP, extensive development work is underway where we continue to develop future care and working methods. There is also the possibility of some remote work, supervision of students, and participation in development and research work.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse, preferably with a few years of professional experience. Specialist training in psychiatry and/or child and adolescent healthcare is a merit.
You are confident in your profession, enjoy variation, and have the ability to create good and safe care meetings with children, adolescents, and their families. You are attentive, flexible, and find it easy to collaborate with other professions. We place great emphasis on personal suitability and offer individually adapted introduction, mentor support, and a strong collegial environment where you are never alone.

About the Service
BUP outpatient care has the task of investigating, diagnosing, and treating psychiatric conditions in children and adolescents up to 18 years of age throughout the county. Our outpatient care consists of two units and together we are approximately 70 employees with different competencies. With us work nurses, doctors, psychologists, curators, occupational therapists, special educators, care assistants, and medical administrative staff. We are located in pleasant premises in the center of Örebro and work in an environment with high ceilings, close to support, and where collaboration is a natural part of everyday life. Here there is a strong nursing group, engaged colleagues, and good opportunities for learning and development.
