Child and Adolescent Psychiatry works with children and adolescents up to 18 years of age with moderate to severe psychiatric issues. Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Norrbotten consists of four outpatient clinics, a unit for round-the-clock care, the safety team that works with acute assessments, and the neuropsychiatric CAP team. This position is for you who can and want to make a difference for the children and young people who need us. Within CAP you meet children and adolescents in difficult situations – and you also meet their families, other close relatives or perhaps government representatives who are part of their lives. We are looking for you who knows who the main person is every day in every patient matter. You have good computer skills and we consider it a merit if you are specialist trained in psychiatry or health and care for children and adolescents. You should have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing and it is an advantage if you speak Finnish and Sami but not a requirement. As a nurse within CAP you work with children and adolescents in complex and sometimes difficult life situations. The work involves contact with patients, their families and other important actors in the child's network. The assignment requires good ability for independent medical assessments, confidence in the profession and respectful treatment even in challenging situations. We place great emphasis on personal qualities. To thrive in this role you can plan, organize and prioritize work in an efficient way and you can set and maintain time frames. You see the big picture and take the broader perspective into account. As a person you are confident, stable and have self-insight as well as good collaboration skills. What you will work with You will work in a multidisciplinary team with the child and adolescent in focus. We are in our unit on a development journey where patient and quality safety is our guiding principle and where we together take great shared responsibility. Through collaborative work we develop working methods to increase our accessibility and make a difference for children and adolescents in Gällivare, Jokkmokk, Kiruna and Pajala. We are part of a regional clinic and work in collaboration with all CAP clinics in the region, we both give and receive help from each other to achieve results. As a nurse you become part of the unit's work but also a colleague to nurses in the region who all contribute with high expertise and work enjoyment. The work involves, in addition to patient meetings in planned follow-up, daily work with telephone advice and digital case management. As a nurse with us you have the opportunity for a varied and meaningful work with multiple personal meetings with children and adolescents. You will work with patient visits, both physical and digital, participate in treatment conferences, conduct medication and well-being follow-ups. Responsibility for advice in Tele-Q and 1177. Start date by agreement. Selection and interviews take place on an ongoing basis and the position may be filled before the final application date. The operation works with the coast clinic in the CAP region and is back in full operation from week 32. The position is within psychiatry and work with children: Based on the nature of the operation and security requirements, applicants to our operation must be prepared to provide extracts from the criminal record register.
