Our Operations and Your Assignment
Being a nurse in child and adolescent psychiatry (BUP) is exciting work where you meet people in many different situations. You will also be part of a skilled team that supports and helps each other while you work independently. Here you can count on varied work with challenging tasks.
The position involves working with children, adolescents, and their families together with the rest of the team. You meet children and adolescents in individual visits but also with their family/network. The work is varied and as a nurse you can also work with telephone counseling and clinic visits for follow-up and care. The work also includes collaboration with other BUP operations, care partners, adult psychiatry, and social services.
There is close cooperation with the team's physician regarding medication follow-up and regular rounds are scheduled for medication issues. You will receive a mentor and regular supervision, and nurses at the clinics meet regularly for method development.
Your Qualifications
You are a licensed nurse, preferably with specialist training in psychiatry and with experience working with children and adolescents.
Your Competence
You always put the patient in focus and are responsible and motivated in your work. You are not only a skilled nurse, but also an engaged and positive colleague who contributes to a good work environment. If you combine this with curiosity and thoroughness, you may be right for us.
What We Offer
The position is a permanent employment starting August 31. We are located at Kungsgatan 38, in the middle of town, and working hours are daytime Monday-Friday. You will receive an introduction and a mentor during your first year with us.
