Department 14 Mava/Stroke at the Hospital in Motala is part of the medical specialist clinic, primary care in western Östergötland. We are approximately 35 employees who together with the clinic provide internal medicine 24/7 to the population in the western part of the region. Our common focus is to offer emergency care with good patient safety and good treatment. Department 14 Mava/stroke is an inpatient ward focused on internal medical diseases and stroke care, divided into two care teams. Stroke care is conducted in multidisciplinary collaboration between different professional categories in a stroke team. The goal of care is to provide the patient with a cohesive stroke care process where emergency care is combined with early rehabilitation and good nursing care. In the Mava care team, patients with various internal medical diseases are cared for, such as infections, endocrine, hematological, lung, gastrointestinal diseases, and chronic heart diseases. By working in Mava/stroke, you gain broad expertise in both internal medical diseases and stroke care. Here we work continuously with education and training, both major and minor. Job Description As a nurse, you plan and lead the daily nursing work together with the team in the care unit and promote a positive climate in the workplace. We can offer varied work that suits you who want and can take your own initiative. Previous experience is meritorious but not required. Work Group On our unit, we work closely with our rehabilitation team, consisting of an occupational therapist, physiotherapist, speech-language pathologist, social worker, dietitian, and as a nurse you are an important cohesive link for the patient's care during their stay. Our work group consists of employees with both longer and shorter experience in inpatient care work. The group is characterized by work joy, positivity, and the desire to learn. We offer the work time model 90/10 with us, which means you work 90 percent with full-time salary. About You We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. No previous experience is needed. Since you work in constant dialogue with patients and colleagues, it is a requirement that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. We desire a team player with a sense for teamwork. You should have good treatment of both colleagues, patients, and relatives.
