About the Operation Department 11 specializes in acute surgery and upper gastroenterology, and we want to strengthen our multidisciplinary teams. We have a varied patient flow including everything from acute surgical conditions and trauma to critically ill cancer patients. You will work as part of a team alongside nursing assistants, doctors, physiotherapists, and dietitians. This means you as a nurse will have broad support in your role! Responsibilities We are looking for a nurse who wants to work with pre- and postoperative care, which includes clinical assessments, rounds, medication management, and specimen collection. Surgical nursing also includes management of drains, wounds, and medical equipment. The department has supporting functions including specialist nurses with extensive surgical nursing expertise, pharmacists, and patient-oriented services. We provide individually tailored orientation. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is a licensed nurse, interested in surgery, and comfortable working both as part of a team and independently with varying tasks. You work responsibly and evidence-based, following our procedures. This position is suitable for you if you are a newly qualified nurse, but also if you want to continue growing, as we have great opportunities within the clinic.
