About the Department Do you have a passion for geriatrics, stroke care, orthopedics, and rehabilitation? Then Department 1 could be your next workplace. The department is a combined geriatric, orthopedic, stroke, and rehabilitation unit where we care for: - patients with significant rehabilitation needs - medically ill patients We receive direct admissions from the emergency department, which makes the work varied, challenging, and educational. The department has 14 beds and is divided into two care teams, with each team responsible for approximately 7-8 patients. Responsibilities As a nurse with us, you will be responsible, together with your team, for providing excellent and safe care where the patient and their family are always at the center. You will work in a multidisciplinary team consisting of nursing assistants, nurses, physicians, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and social workers. We collaborate closely, supporting each other throughout each shift and fostering a work culture characterized by teamwork, care, joy, and respect. You will receive an individualized introduction, whether you are new to the profession or have extensive experience. Each shift is staffed with experienced personnel, and we offer CPR training.
