Tillberga Correctional Facility is now seeking an engaged nurse for our healthcare clinic. Job Description The Swedish Prison and Probation Service operates open healthcare services with its own clinics at all correctional facilities and remand centers where inmates can seek care. At Tillberga, two nurses work closely together to run the clinic. In addition to the nurses, the team includes general practitioners and psychiatrists on-site several hours per week. A psychologist is assigned to the facility one day per week. Your main responsibilities include patient meetings where you manage clinic intake, assess medical conditions, and prioritize which patients should see a doctor or psychologist. You work broadly with both somatic and psychiatric health and medical care for patients of various ages with varying care needs. Furthermore, you handle medications primarily through dose dispensing, assist at doctor's clinics, and document in the patient electronic medical record system PMO. As a nurse at Tillberga Correctional Facility, you will have a varied workday with broad contact points, meeting various professions and work groups.
