About the Position As a nurse in Angio, you work in a highly specialized operation with both planned and emergency cardiac interventions. We receive patients for PCI (coronary angioplasty) and also perform emergency procedures such as coronary interventions, pericardiocentesis, temporary pacemaker treatment, advanced care for adults with congenital heart disease (GUCH), and ECPR – an advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation method where ECMO temporarily takes over the heart and lung function during cardiac arrest. You will become part of a team with nurses and doctors with specialist expertise in interventional cardiology. Your responsibilities include: - Sterile assistance during advanced examinations and interventions - Nursing care responsibility before, during, and after procedures - Patient responsibility in the intervention laboratory The operations are conducted in modern intervention laboratories in both Huddinge and Solna. The work includes both planned treatments and emergency interventions for patients with myocardial infarction and other serious cardiac conditions. The role is technically advanced and requires good nursing competence, pharmacological knowledge, and the ability to work in a structured manner even in acute situations. The position is a full-time permanent employment. Work is conducted in both Huddinge and Solna and takes place mainly during daytime with on-call duty. On-call duty involves a 30-minute response time. We are Looking for You If You: - Take responsibility for your tasks and feel confident making well-founded decisions even in acute situations - Work in a structured manner and maintain composure even when the work pace is high - Have a good patient focus and provide professional treatment where the patient's needs are central - Collaborate well with others and contribute to good cooperation in the multiprofessional team - Have a desire to develop within interventional cardiology and advanced cardiac care We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Qualifications Requirements: - Registered nurse - At least one year of experience from cardiology, emergency care, or thoracic surgery Meritorious: - Experience from PCI or other intervention operations - Specialist nurse with focus on intensive care, emergency care, or cardiac care About the Recruitment Process Selection and interviews may take place continuously during the application period.
