The General Psychiatry Outpatient Clinic in Hallsberg is tasked with assessing, investigating, and treating patients in need of specialist psychiatric services for adults over 18 years old. The catchment area includes Hallsberg, Kumla, and Askersund with a combined population of approximately 48,000 residents. The clinic consists of about 25 employees: physicians, psychologists, nurses, occupational therapists, social workers, psychiatric nurses, psychotherapists, medical administrative staff, clinic assistants, rehabilitation coordinators, care coordinators, and a unit manager. We need to strengthen our nursing staff with additional team members to meet the healthcare needs in Sydnärke. We are organized into interprofessional treatment teams and work based on evidence in accordance with national guidelines. The breadth of the work makes each day varied and eventful. As a new employee, you will receive comprehensive introductory training and be offered a mentor within your professional group. There are excellent train connections between Örebro and Hallsberg, and it takes approximately 10 minutes to walk from Hallsberg Central Station to the clinic. We are located in the same facilities as primary care and public dental health services in Hallsberg. Job Duties The job duties consist of standard nursing work with a focus on psychiatric care. The work includes, for example, monitoring medication treatment, medication administration, telephone counseling, managing the e-service 1177.se and the prescription and medication hotline, suicide prevention measures, and supporting patients in their rehabilitation toward improved mental health and functioning. Teamwork is central to daily work at the clinic, and you will be an important collaboration partner to other staff at the clinic, contributing your specific expertise during treatment conferences and in patient care collaboration. Another important part of the work involves contact and cooperation with health centers, municipalities, other healthcare providers within the catchment area, as well as the Swedish Social Insurance Agency and the Swedish Public Employment Service. You will play an important role in daily operations but are also expected to be part of the organization's development. Qualifications We are seeking a licensed nurse. Experience in general psychiatry or specialist psychiatric care, as well as specialist training in psychiatry, is an advantage. We work with both individual and group treatment as well as with both planned and acute visits and telephone counseling.
